| Only three minutes by car from the
sea, or 15 minutes should you prefer to walk, Boswell Way is in a quiet
road on the outskirts of Seaton, adjacent to land of historical and archaeological
interest. If you travel by train, the owners will be pleased to meet and return you to Axminster Station. A bus service into town runs from the bottom of the road. Each room is carefully
furnished, with colour television and video facilities; there is a small
selection of films available. All bedrooms have central heating, a fire
and smoke detector, hair dryer, radio, clock, magazines and a range
of books. The attractive twin/double-bedded
room has a private shower room which overlooks the rear garden and land
which is a site of old Roman baths. You may walk to the
mounds on this historical site, which have panoramic views spanning
many miles over the Axe Valley and out to sea. Should you wish to picnic
where the Romans settled, tables are provided for your use. The double bedded room
has en-suite facilities and also includes little touches to make your visit
feel a "home from home". The ground floor double
bedroom has a private toilet and hand wash basin but without shower. There is a garden patio
and, protected by law, a "Devon Bank" which protects the natural habitat,
fauna and the host of birds which enjoy bathing in the earth, rocks and
tree stumps that surround Boswell Way. Evening dinner is available
by prior arrangement. There is no availability
for children under 12 or for pets. A colour brochure is
available on request. |
