Mousehole, Cornwall UK

Pronounced 'Mowzell', Mousehole  is an attractive fishing village in West Cornwall. There is a sandy beach at the entrance to the village with safe bathing and sandy areas in the harbour when the tide is out.

In summer you can see working boats and leisure craft sheltering in the harbour. As you watch, you might like to pay your respects to the memory of the loss of the crew of the lifeboat in 1981 and imagine the effect such a tragedy had on such a small community.
