The seaside resort of Penzance, at the far end of Cornwall is also a working port and well placed to tour West Cornwall.

There are miles of south facing sandy beaches offering safe bathing and lovely views of Mount's Bay and St. Michael's Mount.

Penzance has good shops yet is only 10 miles from Lands End

As well as enjoying Penzance and exploring the villages, coves and local history you might like to take a day trip to the Isles of Scilly - you can go by helicopter or boat.
