St. Just, Cornwall UK
Cape Cornwall is 1.5 miles from St Just
St. Just in the far west of Cornwall is the town up the road from the aptly named Cape Cornwall which offers tremendously wide views of the sea. The sea here can be wild and many ships have been wrecked on Brisons Reef.

Houses and cottages in St. Just are built of local granite. Car parking in St. Just is ample and free and there is a selection of shops and places to eat and drink.

The area used to be rich in mining (tin and copper), farming and fishing; disused engine houses still stand proudly over the moorland. The National Trust cares for much of the coastal land with its abundant wildlife and industrial archaeology. There are also many prehistoric sites in the area, including stone circles, standing stones and ancient burial chambers.

Pleasure flights and flights to the Isles of Scilly can be taken from Lands End aerodrome close by.
