Bideford sits at the head of the Torridge Estuary in north  Devon; the river is spanned by a bridge with 24 arches and you will see fishing boats in the working harbour.

There are good beaches at nearby Westward Ho!, lovely countryside surrounds the area and Bideford, with all its amenities and shops makes a well placed centre to see north Devon.
