On the south coast of Devon, Dawlish Warren is a great place for those wanting a good family holiday at the seaside. The long beach slopes gently into the sea and a team of lifeguards keep an eye over safety. There are good public facilities, a traffic free shopping area on the way to the beach, a large grassed play area, places to eat and lots of amusements, including rides.

The dunes offer a quiet spot to enjoy the surroundings with a nature conservation area on your doorstep. Boat trips go from nearby Dawlish and Starcross and the resort has its own railway station; the line is on one of the most attractive in the country between Starcross and Newton Abbot.
